Well.. I suppose that it's time to speak more about the wedding...?
We have begun our counseling with Pastor Mike, and I must say that it is really going great! I really feel that Katie and I are making a huge investment in our marriage. Its actually really fun too, and 1000 times better than our other counseling!
Other than that, we are almost ready to send out our invitations to everyone, and plans are nearing completion. I still have some people to ask to help me out, and I am sure there is lots of other things that I need to take care of, but they will get done, I promise.
The church has nearly completed its renovation, and It really looks great. Besides that, the sound is excellent, and it blows my mind how great the Kick Drum sounds...Oops, Wedding right? So anyways, I think that It will look more like a wedding than a Gym.

Welcome to the New Look!
I am testing out a new service called
Blogger. It is very similiar to
Movable Type, but has some more ease of use that I like. I know that I am an IT Pro, but easy is funner!
As far as the wedding goes, we are continuing to make progress on a day-to-day basis. On Saturday I picked out the Tuxes that I liked. Myself and the groomsmen will sport a nice 4-button designer tux with an off-white Euro-Style Tie and vest. The Ushers will wear a Ralph Lauren Black Tux, with a Black vest and tie. As for the fathers... they can decide for themselves. I don't know Dave's tastes as well as I should I guess.

Yes, we are getting somewhere.
Katie, her Mom, and my Mom got what seems to me to be a ton of stuff done this weekend. They checked out the Student Union, where our reception will be, the church, and then even get around to a few stores... all on Saturday! They are power women!
Plans are looking good for the decorations. I am really excited to see the church all decorated up and looking great. Then the reception is going to look even better! We ditched our original plans for the center-pieces and are going to rent some alternative ones. This saves us money, and a lot of extra stuff when the wedding is over.
The best part of the weekend planning was that Katie and her Dad may have found the band. It is a 4 piece Jazz ensemble that features some of the best musicians in the region. One of which is my long-time inspiration Ron Crocker. He is an excellent drummer and I have learned a great deal from him over the time that I have known him. If it all comes together, it will be a memorable dance, I guarantee it!

With the acceptance of Nick today to the groomsman clan, The on-stage lineup is now complete. The Order is as follows:
Alex (Best Man)
Adam
Nick
Jon
Austin
Ushers are to follow. I think that I know who I want, and will be asking this weekend.
Katie and Judy went to Rockville today and spoke with the Lady that will be making our cakes. We are having white cakes, with the traditional Butter-Cream frosting. There will be 3 tiers and a water feature. I didn't get to see it, but it sounds really cool. I am not a big fan of cake so there will be no "traditional" Grooms cake. Sorry.
Katie and I are also getting close to deciding where we are going for our honeymoon as well as the dishes and food for the reception. The Kearney Evangelical Free Church also called us back and let us know that we were going to be able to have the wedding at 7:00. That is the tenative time.
More to follow as I know it.
